Have you entered yet?

The Community Biodiversity Awards scheme is open for nominations! Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their voluntary efforts to improve their local patch for wildlife?  If so, why not enter them for a Community Biodiversity Award?

The Awards are run by the Norfolk Biodiversity Partnership (NBP) - a voice for Norfolk’s nature - which is hosted by Norfolk County Council. Nominations are welcome from enthusiastic community groups and individuals who are making a difference for wildlife in their local patch – such as town and parish councils, groups, individuals, schools and businesses. Entries are open to anyone who is working in a voluntary capacity at a local level to improve their local environment for biodiversity and to widen knowledge of, and participation in, the natural world.

Winners will be celebrated at our wonderful summer Awards evening and take away a framed certificate.  This year, our 5 award categories are:

  • Parish and Town Councils
  • Inspiring Others
  • Best Group
  • Commons and Greens
  • Churchyards and Cemeteries

The entry process is straightforward – all you need to do is download our form from our website, fill it out and email it back!
